All you need to do is send us in your Smart controller (SCU)

And we can retrieve your lost keycode and program you a new smart key and ship it back to you.

- USER8 : I have lost my Yamaha N-max 125 key fob what do i do??

SMARTFOBS : Hi Do you have the original pin code for your bike ?

USER8 : sorry what's that ? 

SMARTFOBS : The PIN code is supplied with the NMAX when new, either alongside the keys or included in the original documentation. It is printed on a red card featuring a white key symbol in the centre, with a six-digit number displayed across it.

The PIN code is provided as a security safeguard, allowing the bike to be started in the event that the original key fob is lost. It is also required when programming or adding an additional key

USER8 : OK i have had a look and cant see that red pin code anywhere what now ?

SMARTFOBS : ok that's a shame as with the pin you can just purchase a new key from us and pair with the bike using the pin.

The only alternative is for you to remove and send us the bike’s SCU controller - with this we can recover the pin code and make a new key for you.

Please look under your seat toward the front of the bike—you’ll see a panel covering the battery. Remove the two screws securing the panel, and underneath you’ll find the battery. To the left of the battery is a small unit called the SCU, which is connected by a cable.

Carefully disconnect the cable and remove the SCU by gently pulling it upward. Once removed, please send us a photo of the part via WhatsApp so we can confirm that it’s the correct component. After confirmation, we’ll provide you with our address for posting the unit to us.
