How to start the FORZA 750 (NSS750) in an Emergency using the pin code

Activating the Electrical System in an Emergency HONDA NSS750 FORZA 750

    • Use the emergency key to open the seat.
    • Remove the maintenance lid.
    • Push the tab to remove the data link connector from the connector suspension.
    • Push the tab to disconnect the starter magnetic switch connector from the starter magnetic switch.
    • Push the seat opener switch or fuel lid opener switch.
    • Reconnect the starter magnet switch connector to the starter magnet switch.
    • Push and hold the ignition (On) switch for more than 4 seconds within 60 seconds after reconnecting the starter magnetic switch connector.
      ▶ The steering lock indicator comes on, the buzzer sounds and the system enters the ID number input mode.
    • Check the ID number on the ID tag.

     

    Steps to Input the ID Number

    1. Start input mode:
      • Push the ignition On switch.
      • Turn the ignition switch knob to Off/Lock counterclockwise.
    2. Input the ID digits:
      • For each digit:
        1. Push the ignition On switch the number of times corresponding to the digit.
        2. Turn the ignition switch knob to Off/Lock to fix that digit.
          • The buzzer will sound, and the steering lock indicator will briefly turn off and on to confirm.
        3. Move to the next digit and repeat.
    3. Timeout:
      • If no input is made for about 60 seconds, the input is cancelled.
      • The system resets to its previous state before connecting the starter magnetic switch.

    Example for Inputting “0”

    • Turn the ignition switch knob to Off/Lock counterclockwise without pushing the ignition On switch.
    • Then proceed to input the next digit using the same method.

    • To input “1”, push the ignition  (On) switch once, and then turn the ignition switch knob / (Off/Lock) counterclockwise to input the next digit.

    ID number input success

    After the last digit of the ID number is inputted, ID number is authenticated, the steering lock indicator will flash every 2 seconds.

    Push the ignition  (On) switch within 30 seconds after the ID number is authenticated.


    If the steering is locked

    The steering will be unlocked. To active the electrical system, push the ignition  (On) switch once again within 30 seconds after the ID number is authenticated.


    If the steering is unlocked

    The electrical system will be activated. You can start the engine.


    Reinstall the parts in the reverse order of removal before riding.



    You can turn off the engine and electrical system and also lock the steering using the ignition switch. The ignition  (On) switch operation is disabled 30 seconds after the electrical system is turned off.


    To activate the electrical system again, repeat the procedures for activating the electrical system in an emergency.



    ID number input failure

    If the ID number is not authenticated after inputting, the buzzer sounds and the steering lock indicator goes off. The steering cannot be unlocked and the electrical system will not activate.

    Repeat the procedures for activating the electrical system in an emergency.



    ID number input cancel

    If you input the wrong number, you can cancel ID number input by not operating the ignition  (On) switch for about 60 seconds (the steering lock indicator goes off ).
